  We stopped in for a few drinks on the way back from Port Arthur and were met with incredibly friendly and helpful staff.
  
  It was a beautiful setting, very clean, and plenty of seating.
  
  The highlight was the local sheep escaping for a wander, but don't bank on that every day! They're not supposed to leave their paddock! But it was also just nice to watch them from the deck, grazing just 15m away.
  
  There is a reason country pubs are a must visit and this place is one of those special ones.

  Delicious and fresh flounder, pricing was okay. Seafood chowder has reduced in overall quantity since 2015/6.

  Omg what a delight! We were pleasantly surprised by our meals here. My parmigiana loving husband was in awe of his huge plate. The prices were very affordable despite the incredibly generous serves, as we watched other people's meals come out it seems that is that case across the menu. Large wholesome tucker. Gorgeous little spot.

  Terrible! Ordered the Lamb Shanks. Awful! The worst lamb shanks I have ever eaten in Australia. The lamb was dry and tasteless, vegetables not cooked properly. Not worth the $35 price. The chef appeared Indian. Maybe they should learn to cook European food or stick to Indian cuisine and stay away from Australian Country Pubs.

  We attended on a quiet Monday night, so little of quality available even at Sorell. We made our way down to Dunalley Hotel and were very glad we did. The service was great country, friendly service and the meals were large, well prepared and well priced with a good variety. If you are out that way we would recommend.
